A GLANCE ON ENGR. AKARACHI AMADI’S SCORECARD

 

Engr. Akarachi Amadi, a humanitarian per excellence who is poised in Giving Help and Inspiring Hope to All. He is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from Convenant University and has since then added other postgraduate certificates. 

Engr. Akarachi Amadi is a businessman and has done so well in the oil and gas sector. He is a director in Charlvon Group.

He is married to his beautiful wife, Mrs Inifon Amadi and the marriage is blessed with two adorable children. 

By the grace of God, currently, he is the APC Candidate for Mbaitoli Ikeduru Federal Constituency, 2023.

As a philanthropist, whose joy is giving back to the society, he has the following milestone achievements to his record within Mbaitoli Ikeduru Federal Constituency and beyond:

1. Massive Employment of MBAIKE Youths in his various Offices and Humanitarian Foundation (Akarachi Foundation)

 

2. Sole Sponsorship of First 2020 / 2021 MBAIKE Unity Football Competition worth over Forty Million Naira (N40,000,000) with over 20 discovered talented players currently playing in different European Countries.

 

3. Electrification of entire Amaehi town in Eziama Ikeduru LGA with 200 Megawatt solar power through his brainchild and Innovative Project tagged PROJECT LIGHT UP MBAIKE.

 

4. Building and furnishing of Four (4) bedroom bungalow for a homeless poor widow Mama Jemimah Ndukwe in Umuaruru-Uke Ikembara in Ikeduru LGA, Imo State.

 

5. Sponsorship of over 50 MBAIKE Constituents for major surgeries in FMC Owerri and other hospitals through his FREE HEALTH PROJECT.

 

6. Sole sponsorship of free JAMB Registration of 635 MBAIKE JAMB applicants drawn from the 24 INEC Wards of MBAIKE

 

7. Sponsorship of Free JAMB lesson / tutorials in major JAMB subjects including English and Mathematics for all MBAIKE JAMB candidates.

 

8. Distribution of over 50,000 bags of rice and packs of cooking condiments for all MBAIKE women in the various Communities in Mbaitoli and Ikeduru LGAs during the Christmas and New Year.

 

9. Sole sponsorship of MBAIKE 2021 / 2022 N20,000,000 Unity Football Tournament and facilitation of over 15 MBAIKE youths to oversea club signing and enrolment.

 

10. Granting of scholarship to over 30 MBAIKE students in both secondary and tertiary institutions.

 

11. Construction of 1.8 Km Ngugo / Ikembara- Eziama Road with Standard bridge and dual drainage.

 

12. Award of Scholarship with provision of academic materials from Primary to University Education to the best performing Pupils at the 2022 Ikeduru Education Week event at Iho Stadium Ikeduru LGA, Imo State.

 

13. Award of University Education Scholarship to over 37 Free JAMB Beneficiaries who scored above 200 in their JAMB / UTME Examination

 

14. Cash Donation of One Million Naira (N1,000,000) for the renovation of Ikeduru Education Management Secretariate Iho.

 

15. Donation of 250 complete set of chairs for the pupils of Iho Central School

16. Cash Donation of #1,000,000 (One Million Naira) in support of Okpuala Amakohia civic hall building project.

 

17. Ongoing Construction of 4.95 Klm Nkwo Orji – Obazu – Orie Mbieri Road.

 

18. Ongoing Construction of Umudim Health Centre

 

19. Complete facelift / electrification, fencing and equipping of Mbieri hospital

 

20.  Donation of Hundred Million Naira (N100,000,000) for the Massive Empowerment of MBAIKE youths through the Imo State Government.

 

21. Donation of Six Million Three Hundred Thousand Naire (N6,300,000) to the Home and Abroad Women August Meeting of the 63 Autonomous Communities in Mbaitoli and Ikeduru during the 2022 August Meeting Celebration.

 

22. Distribution of over Ten Million pieces of wrappers to the MBAIKE 63 Autonomous Communities August Meeting Home and Abroad Women.

 

23. Massive Grading and Sand filling of the Mbieri, Ogwa, Ogbaku, Orodo, Uzoagba, Akabo Etc Rural Roads for a seamless 2022 Christmas Celebrations.

 

24. Sole Sponsorship of 20 Mbaitoli and Ikeduru talented Footballers discovered during the 2021 / 2022 football tournament to abroad for foreign trainings and exposures.

 

25. Procurement and Distribution of Mini Buses to over 30 MBAIKE Constituents.

 

26. Massive Financial support to the Anglican Diocese of Ikeduru during the 2022 Synod held at Christ Anglican Church Iho.

 

27. Payment for the procurement of a Complete Musical Band set for St. Andrews Anglican Church Akabo during the 2022 Youth Conference.

28. Donation of over five(5) Brand New Transformers to various Communities in Mbaike that didn’t have light for years, such as Amatta, Abazu, Umunoha, Atta and Umuodu Mbieri Communities respectively.

29. Building of classroom blocks for Community Primary School, Umunkporoafor Umunoha.

30. Offsetting Electricity Bills with about One Million Naira for Obibi Community in Ogbaku with a tone of  that didn’t have light for over one year.

31. Electricity poles and wires were replaced in Ogbaku to reconnect them back to power grid when winds got them damaged and kept the entire community in darkness.

32. A 2008 RAV4 was donated to the Rev Fr of St John’s Catholic Church, Umuduru-Umueze Autonomous community in Amaike Ward.

Engr. Akarachi has got involved in so many humanitarian engagements so numerous to mention.

It is obvious that we can only expect so much more in Mbaitoli Ikeduru Federal Constituency when we elect Engr. Akarachi to the National Assembly to represent our people. His emergence will give our people a strong voice and development beyond our expectations.
